Chic Smudged Eyeliner Look

Hello my snowflakes,

Here is another easy makeup tutorial concentrating really on using just an eyeliner pencil. It's probably one of the easiest ways to create an everyday winged smokey eye. I was inspired to try this out after seeing it on lots of K-pop artists. If you're not a fan of sharp graphic eyeliner, this one is the look for you.

It's just such a chic look that will complement any skin colour or eye shape.  The soft edges helps to keep the eyes look soft yet edgy at the same time. I am in LOVE with this look.

Check out the tutorial below (watch out for bloopers too hehe):

Key products of the look

banillablackThe key to this look is using a good khol formula pencil liner. This allows you to stretch out the colour for the smoldering effect. I can't use any other eyeliner pencil other than my Banilla & Co Style eyeliner pencil (deep black). It's super pigmented, glides on like butter and doesn't smudge. It's amazing. Only downside is it goes down pretty quick but this is the case with most khol pencil liners anyway.

macscremesheen

I wore this MAC Cremesheen glass in Double Happiness to complement the eyes. I'm not usually someone who appreciates the nude lip but this colour is just GORGEOUS. I love the formulation because it lasts very long and it gives me baby lips. It's the perfect winter gloss to wear with smokey eyes. If you match this lipgloss with a brighter blush colour, PERFECT!

nectar

This is the perfect illuminator ever! It gives my cheeks a gorgeous flush of coral and the glow it gives is to die for. If I were to recommend a beauty gift for Christmas, it's the Bobbi Born Shimmer Brick in Nectar because it just looks incredible (especially in photos). It's gorgeous on all skin tones and this baby will last you for a very long time.

Remember!
For this look, you don't have to go with black. You can choose to work with any colour you like (although I personally think black looks most effective). If you don't have a black eyeliner pencil, just use a matte black eyeshadow which should also do the trick.

Hope you enjoyed this look. Have a wonderful weekend everyone. Wow, is it me or did this week REALLY fly by quickly? I can't believe I'll be off to Northern Ireland in just 10 days! I won't be able to film as much so I'll vlog and write bubzbeauty posts to make up for it yeah? Take care guys!

Much love, Bubz xx
