Wow! I'm writing an entry in daylight, this feels cool. Well in 2 days, my sister and cousin are leaving to go back to UK =( Going to miss them so much but at least videos and posts are going to become frequent again.
Thank you so much for everybody's awesome messages for the engagement of Tim and I. We're still getting so much love and support from you all. Today, I'm just going to share our wedding plans and ideas with you guys. Well basically we're going to have two weddings. One is going to be for our parents which is a chinese banquet style wedding. Since my parents are probably going to invite a lot of friends and family guests, there would probably be between 250-300 guests. Tradition wise, my parents pay for the banquet.
As for the proper wedding, it's for Tim and I =) We're going to do a small intimate wedding (hopefully 75-100 guests) where we invite only close friends and family. It means we can actually spend quality time with the people there. Most of all, we get to say our vows in front of our closest friends which means most to us. We're hoping to marry next year on 1st August which will also be our 10th anniversary together so it will be a Summer wedding yeyyy. We figured it will be special to get married back in Northern Ireland because we grew up there.
Believe me, it's only been a week since the engagement but I'm already planning! I know the first thing to do is to talk to the fiance about what type of wedding we want and our budget. He wasn't too fussed though. He's like "Whatever babe, do what you want. All I gotta do is turn up right?" =_= Next is to decide a date and venue which is something we're looking at now. We know it's going to cost a lot of money but hey, it's once in a lifetime right?
I'm actually the first to get married out of my close friends so I was pretty clueless with what needed to be done and how it needs to be done. Luckily for all the awesome wedding vlogs on Youtube (thanks to Fleur and Criselle) because I got so much help from it. Hopefully when it's time for my girlfriends to marry, I'll know my stuff and help them out wohoo. I will let you guys know when we find the perfect venue. It's gonna be tough because I'm all the way in Hong Kong so I may need to fly back for it which costs a lot. Northern Ireland is small so our choice is pretty limited. Have to rely on my bridesmaid from back home a lot too but we're optimistic about it ^^
I'm not going to bore you guys with the planning so let's share some of my wedding pictures for inspiration. I'm so inspired by these wonderful ideas and pictures. 
I haven't even started looking at dresses since I know I have a whole year to look for the perfect dress but how pretty is this one? Liking all the textures and the bow waist ribbon that extends to the bottom of the dress. 
I quite like the idea of having the bridesmaids wear different colours instead of being matchy matchy. Especially with pastel colours! Maybe Tim's best men can wear multi-coloured ties too. Be a cute idea right? By the way, I have 4 bridesmaids ^^ 
I like the ideas of lots of lights for a magical & romantic atmosphere. Liking the simplicity idea of candles inside little jars or fairy lights and even lanterns. 
YEY! Cuppycakes!! *drools*
I like the idea of flowers dangling from the ceiling. Maybe instead of white flowers, maybe something on the light pink side?
A cute DIY idea to make your own artsy decoration. Nice little simple idea.

Since we gotta fly back to Hong Kong after the wedding, instead of registering for gifts. We're just going to put a jar or a wishing well and name it 'The Honeymoon Fund'. Guests can put in whatever instead of bringing us gifts? That be a cute and functional idea.

So next week I'll be in LA for work. Since I'm in the area, I'm helping my friend Jason Chen with his music video. I can't believe it, I FINALLY get to be in a music video!!!! I was so excited for his song 'Autotune' to come out and now I get to be his autotune too. Makes me so happy and excited. If you're from the area, you can be in the music video and we would love to meet you guys too. Hopefully, I won't make his video look bad o_O

Ok, off to work on the next Girl Talk video. It's been a while since we did an episode. Been meaning to do a hair tutorial but my hair model (lil sis) has been busy. Hope you guys enjoyed this wedding related post!
