I am in LOVE with the Sanctuary 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask!

When I was back in the UK, my skin broke out due to the stress of flying, lack of sleep and busy schedule. I was always eating out in different restaurants so I wasn't eating very healthy either. No wonder my skin wasn't behaving. I was desperate to give my skin a detox that it deserves so I headed out to my local Boots and searched the shelves for a detoxing clay mask. While I couldn't find a clay mask, I managed to find a '5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask' by Sanctuary. I didn't think much of it and I threw it in my basket along with my other items. I actually completely forgotten about this buy until I returned back to Hong Kong. I've only used this a few times but so far, I am loving this mask!

This self heating mask feels so pleasant on my skin even though the heat only lasts a few moments. The warmth opens up the pores to let the charcoal and kaolin clay deep cleanse the skin. Impurities is drawn out from deep within and the mask even helps to rebalance the pH of the skin. The mask doesn't harden or dry out so you don't get the uncomfortable tight feeling. Even though you're only supposed to leave the facial on for 5 minutes, I like to leave the treatment on my face longer. After cleansing off the mask, my skin felt incredibly smooth and looked brighter. In fact, the day after - my skin actually looked clearer!!!

I'm very pleased with this product. It's great for purifying the skin and it doesn't irritate or sting either (unlike a lot of clay masks). Whenever I use this facial treatment, it feels like I'm getting a mini facial spa at home. Feels totally bliss. My favourite detoxing mask right now and I highly recommend this baby for sure. For 100ml at £10.20, it really isn't too pricey.

If you want to try the mask before buying the full product, you can purchase the sample size first. The 15ml sachet will last 3-4 treatments but at £2 a sachet, it just feels a little pricey for a sample.
